Living on A Budget
Hi everyone. Welcome to my Living On A budget website. Living On A Budget was a lifestyle for me ever since I have moved from my parents’ house at the age of 19. Being an immigrant in the UK since 2007 helped me to improve my budgeting skills and encouraged me to find even more possibilities to save money which helped to accomplish my dreams.
Being an immigrant from Romania with a limited opportunity in the UK, I was often looking for alternatives to help me getting better at developing myself from many points of view. It usually came in the forms of budgeting, meditation, and relaxation, and often in my room planning my life for hours on end.
Now I want to give back
Over the years, I have learned a lot about making financial arrangements, self-improvement that helped me improve my life … and I want to offer others some insight into many of these as well as provide you with updated tips and techniques that the real pros are using these days.
A Little Story About My Life
About ten years ago, I worked as a live-in care assistant while waiting for my registration as a nurse. I was extremely fortunate to work for an Asian patient who was suffering from a spinal cord injury. His wife was a yoga-practicing, and she was starting every single day with yoga and meditation. I was fascinated by the Asian culture and techniques that they were practicing. I have started researching about this and I have ended up living a minimalist life; moreover, now I can live on a budget and enjoy life probably even more than most rich people.
I used to spend an hour improving myself and my meditation abilities. I bought just about every product and every manual made out of time to improve my skills. There is an obvious limitation of your success, but when you follow stories like Rhonda Byrne (the creator of The Secret- the book that changed millions of lives, including mine), you realize that everything can be overcome and that good work and practice can truly lead to your success in life.
The Times Are Changed
Life has changed especially since the COVID 19 pandemic. It changed how we work, learn, and interact with each other. We are living more virtual and for some of us, this led to a high level of stress and fatigue.
Much of the content that I am going to discuss here is going to be centered around improving yourself, with an underlying focus always being self-development, budgeting, wellbeing, how can you decently set up yourself to a different level.
Life has changed, so does the way you have to develop your skills
They Say Perfect Practice, Leads To Perfection
There is no point practicing if you are going the wrong way and you are unproductive using the designated time you have. A lot can be accomplished in an hour of improving yourself.
It can lead to a better you, more skills, better budgeting, and ultimately better life.
So have a look around and if you have anything to share with respect to building your own life, I would love to hear it.
